On October 2, 2026, we celebrate 60 years of BORMANN. Since the company was founded in 1966, BORMANN has developed from a supplier of computer accessories into a specialist for professional and industrial IT hardware.
A lot has changed in information technology over the past six decades – and BORMANN has changed with it. Today, at our site in Neusäß, we develop and manufacture mobile and stationary IT systems, custom end devices and individual hardware solutions for professional applications. An important part of our work is our own development and manufacturing. At BORMANN, both mechanical and electronic components are developed in-house. Existing technology modules can be combined with individually developed components, housings and other customisations. Development, manufacturing and sales work closely together at BORMANN. The short distances between our teams help us to implement special customer requirements directly and efficiently. BORMANN remains firmly rooted in Neusäß to this day. From here, we develop IT hardware solutions for a wide range of professional applications and customers around the world. Since 2018, Michael and Tim Bormann have been managing the family business together.
Even after 60 years, one thing remains essential for us: technology has to work reliably in everyday use and fit our customers’ workflows. That is why customised IT hardware, our own development and in-house manufacturing will continue to be important parts of our work in the future.
